The entry process is underway for the 2019 edition of the Housewares Innovation Awards, and companies from across the sector are busy perfecting their submissions to put themselves in with the best chance of winning a prestigious accolade.
With an expanded range of categories, there are even more opportunities to be recognised for innovative products, outstanding services and exceptional individual efforts.
Following high demand from industry, the award for Britain’s Best Family Business has been introduced to highlight the UK’s leading family-run stores, whether they are an independent or chain of stores. In its inaugural year, the award will be sponsored by Harts of Stur – a fourth generation, family owned award-wining business based in the small market town of Sturminster Newton in North Devon.

On the brand front, the Sugar Craft Innovation Award is the latest to join the line-up of accolades that recognise the very best in Bakeware, Food Preparation, Kitchenware, Packaging, Small Electricals, Tabletop and Supplier Service.
Entries can be submitted through the quick and easy online form, which will be available until the deadline of Tuesday 2 October.
Following this, an esteemed panel of industry judges will be tasked with reviewing every single entry and deciding upon the rightful winner in each category. For entrants, the judging process is a unique opportunity to get their products and stores in front of key decision makers from leading retailers and major brands.

Spring Fair, the UK’s number one home & gift trade show and a partner of the Housewares Innovation Awards, takes place at the NEC Birmingham from 3-7 February 2019 – and the very best of the housewares sector will be there to enjoy the unmissable wholesale trade show.
It is apt that the Housewares Innovation Awards ceremony, a celebration of the best products and retailers within the sector, takes place on Monday 4 February just down the road at the NCC, Birmingham.
